If you break my heart; I’ll thank you. If you take from me; I’ll bless you. If you disregard me; I’ll hold the space for you. You are me, I am you; to see, hear and acknowledge. In letting go, the illusion dissolves. In what manner do you cry out… call out… deepen… or dive within? In those moments of question… sometimes the greatest place of peace is from the prayers offered up, and taken in.
I find myself praying moment to moment these days, as I deepen my ever-present union with my creator… My Lover as the BeLoved… A Divine child of Mother-Father God.
When a child in prayer, I bartered for things that were frivolous, even meaningless in the grand landscape of life.
As a teen, I asked for things I wants or needed.
In becoming a woman – wife – mother – divorcee … Many moments of prayer were to find solace and peace… Others to be grateful… Others for courage, and to remember I was not alone.
In the recent past, prayer has shifted into intimacy… A dialogue… Communion and sharing with no need, asking or request other than to be in the presence of. I find myself praying more out loud… And loving the act of ceremony. Prayer has become sweet and cozy, a soft and tender place to relax into… It ended is a communion where there is no end or beginning… no skin… no separation.
How do you pray?
Join in an act of communion with life, where every sharing is a sacrament, every gratitude the bread you are filled with and each awareness the wine that blesses you in greater understanding.
And as an added piece I have attached the meaning of ‘simran’.
Simran is a Punjabi word derived from the Sanskrit word स्मरण (smaraṇa, “the act of remembrance , remembrance, reminiscence, recollection”) which leads to the realization of that which is of the highest aspect and purpose in one’s life. It is the continuous remembrance of the finest aspect of the self, or the continuous remembrance (or feeling) of God, thus used for introducing spirituality. This state is maintained continuously while carrying out the worldly works outside.[1] (Reference: Wikipedia)
