So often we are guided by the practical side of life…what we ‘should’ do. Many people spend a lifetime in a career that does not fulfill them to the extent that something else might. But because of “what other people will think” or “what seems to make sense”, individuals succomb to social pressures.
Many times there is a yearning in the heart…a heart song. It is a constant pulling or tugging; a reminder, so to speak, of a talent, gift or passion. This passion that gnaws is the creative force asking to be made manifest. It is part of the singular purpose that every individual was born for. Passion is the reason for change; the catalyst to move beyond self prescribed limitations and societal boundaries. It is an opportunity to grow, learn, and express in a new way.
So what about the bills? Where is the money going to come from? Can there be a harmonious relationship between money and passion? Can you have both?
You can make money in two ways. The first way invovles controlling your own life, doing it your way, thinking there is no other method, subscribing to a “me against the world” mentality, and exerting extreme amounts of effort. Typically this way becomes routine. After a while, it becomes something you “have” to do rather than something you “want” to do.
Passion allows excitement and energy to unfold. Through this force of energy, you become a happier individual with a sense of purpose and fulfillment. In feeling this way, you raise your vibration level and begin to attract things that match that vibration; the Law of Attraction. When you are doing what you love to do, the universe opens up to support you.
However, you must also “believe” that you are allowed to have the life you desire. Sometimes the negative, conscious, subconscious and unconscious thoughts hinder life experience because they work to attract the things we do not want.
So how do you know if something exists within your psyche? What is showing up in your world? Are the people, events, and circumstances what you desire? If not, what part of you are they reflecting? Every situation is an opportunity to journey more deeply within and know the self on a different level.
So can you have money and passion? Yes…and a wild ride along the way! All you have to do is…
