STAND IN WHO YOU ARE

Often events in our lives cause us to question who we have been. In many instances, they come forward as a challenge, conflict, or or sadness. Moments of reflection can create questions as to the meaning of life and the difficulty “that” sometimes entails. In each situation, however, these moments are not to have us question who we have been, but to prompt us to stand in who we truly are.
Very often other peoples lives seem calm, happy, and perfect. As we look at the situations that rise up in our own circumstances, questions can arise as to why life has to has to seem challenging or difficult at times. There are so many directions that we become pulled. People expect of us but do not alwys do what we expect.
It is very easy to become bogged down in the muck and the mire of “woe is me” or resolve to the sentiment that “life is hard”. Over 80 % of the people in the US suffer from some degree of depression. The average marriage survival rate is five years. The consciousness of fear is so prevelant in the United States that studies have measured average American life force to be between 1 and 2.
Looking at these statistics, it becomes very easy to just throw in the towel and say “its no use.” There is a tendency to look back and reflect on who you have been in the face of challenges and resign to try no harder. It is common to start affirming victimhood , so much so, that more and more events confirm that experience of life.
In every event that happens, no matter how positive or negative it appears to be, the feelings are based upon the perspective you to take. The natural tendency of human beings is to be drawn to the negative thought first. We live in a world where sensationalism in journalism sells. We are a society of highs and lows, requiring stimulation of any type to keep us feeling. So, we become no different in our responses.
But what if the challenges, conflicts, and events in your life are not to reflect who you have been, but are there to prompt you to become who you are meant to be. What if that co-worker that pushes your buttons, the relationship that has challenges, or the drama that rises up in your world from time to time is necessary to keep you growing. Perhaps one of our lessons in life is to become confident enough, strong enough, and authoritative enough to stand in who we really are and do it on our own.
Can you stand in authenticity and walk your walk, talk your talk, and remain true to your voice, integrity, and heart? Are you ready to face the world, regardless of what people say, how you might be judged, or simply not knowing the outcome? Can you live that freely? Are you willing to surrender to yourself that intentionally? Can you allow the world the gift of your authentic presence so that true purpose unfolds?
Stand in who you are! Do not be afraid to be different. Do not question or second guess any decision you have made. Do not allow the consciousness of others affect what you know to be true for you. It is time for every individual on the planet to stand in integrity and really search within for their own guidance. It is time to listen to your heart and not the practical, methodical, templated ego mind. Too many people listen to that practical voice and end up limiting their experience of life. You can have a life of passion, joy, abundance and prosperity. Are you willing to stand in that?
Even if it means disregarding all that you have been and following your dreams… Even if it means people might talk? even if it means it might look crazy to everyone else? Even if it means that your experience of life is first lived for YOU and then for others?  Can you stand in that?
Take a chance …and stand in who you are! All you have to do is…
BELIEVE…Beyond the Illusion!!!
