“When you have to make a choice and don’t make it, that in itself is a choice.” -William James
Our entire lives are one choice after another. As babies, do I sleep, eat, or cry? As toddlers, do I want this toy or that toy? As young adults, do I want to follow the crowd or be my own person? As adults, do I want a job, a family, a home…what kind of car, what to do this weekend, which dress to buy, where to invest the money?
Choices abound our lives for the purposes of keeping us moving. A choice is simply an opportunity to be powerful, to allow the lesser mind to convince you that you are not worthy, or let someone else lead your life. Again…another choice.
Are you living consciously? Are you thinking about the decisions in front of you? Are you listening to your heart, your mind, or both? Are you allowing the full experience of yourself to come forward?
Are you living unconsciously? Do you make spur of the moment decisions? Do you just follow the day to day routine, carrying out the same actions, becoming a repetitive machine?
Are you living by default? Do you let life just happen? Do you wait for someone else to make the decision so you do not have to? Do you feel as if life is not in your control? Have you checked out, moving through the motions, waiting for time to pass?
“When you have to make a choice and don’t make it, that in itself is a choice.”
You do have control over the life experience that manifests. Your choice or so called lack of one creates your reality. Your choice of unconscious living or default living will produce the circumstances and people to support that life experience.
Make the choice to be an active participant in your life. Make the choice to experience one more thing today than you did yesterday. Make the choice that any situation that involves you proceeds with your full presence. Make the choice to reconnect to the living fully and completely. Open your senses, your heart, and your mind. Make the choice to live consciously…and you will change your life.
BELIEVE…Beyond the Illusion!!!
